Cyberdreams is a simple online text adventure game designed to be played alone or with other people.
Set in the present day with many technologic divergances, C Y B E R D R E A M S takes place in a busy town surrounded by many other curious areas. In addition to the textual VR there are many other features such as clickable links, changing area backgrounds, small description images.

In addition to client styling customizations, there is direct integration to play external ZZT (Via ZETA) and Pico-8 games. Do you have a fun ZZT or P8 game that you'd like to share? Let us know and we will turn it into an in-game addition!

Comfortable for In Character or Out of Character Play:
Gameplay is casual and meant to be easy to pop in and out of or to stay awhile, put on some music and get lost. Given it's setting there is no pressure to make elaborate personas (unless you want to). As a general caution whereas it is good to be yourself, remember you are on the internet with lots of people you don't know. Don't divulge any information you wouldn't normally in a public real life setting.

Combat Enabled but not stat oriented:
Like a traditional MUD, CDreams has a combat and intricate item system. You don't need to be a stat nerd or really worry about them to jump in and bop a squirrel or pick a fight with a local. Battle axes, swords, high powered firearms? Nope! Well what are the weapons? Well you'll have to log in and find out! Did you buy a fancy desk lamp for your apartment or a wiffle bat to play with in the park? If you're creative enough that may just be enough to rock some one's world!

The theme:
c y b e r d r e a m s is set in a conventional city with many familiar tones. The world experience a huge acceleration in the 90's much like in our reality causing everyone's life to become much easier. Technology in this reality took a turn and instead of the exponential advancement of consumer electronics, the advancement happened in infrastructure, virtual reality and law enforcement. This has brought on the neo utopia the .com era promised us with a host of problems that come with people being bored and having nothing better to do.
